Overview - Winter Hike to Partnach gorge - Partnachklamm
We start our journey in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and follow an easy, well-maintained winter trail along the Partnach river. As we approach the gorge, the landscape transforms into a frozen fairytale: towering rock walls, ice formations, and the powerful river cutting its way through the narrow gorge.
Inside the Partnach Gorge – Partnachklamm, you’ll walk through tunnels and along safe pathways while witnessing frozen waterfalls – a truly unforgettable winter experience.
After exploring the gorge, we continue to a cozy mountain hut, the Kaiserschmarrn-Alm, where we take a well-deserved break.
Here, you’ll enjoy a traditional Bavarian highlight: freshly prepared Kaiserschmarrn – a fluffy shredded pancake served warm with powdered sugar and apple compote.
Re-energized, we cross a scenic bridge above the gorge, offering a unique panoramic view from the top – a perfect photo opportunity to capture the beauty of the Partnach gorge – Partnachklamm from a new perspective.
The return route leads us gently through a winter forest, back toward Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Surrounded by snow-covered trees and peaceful alpine scenery, this final stretch offers a relaxing and reflective end to the tour.

As a guide, I’m highly attentive and safety-oriented, ensuring that my guests feel confident and supported on the trail. I’m also deeply committed to protecting the environment, doing my best to minimize our impact and promote responsible hiking practices.
In addition, I am a certified NLP communication trainer and coach. This allows me to support individuals not only physically but also mentally and emotionally during our outdoor experiences. Using psychological NLP methods, I’ve helped several clients overcome their fear of heights and gain greater confidence in alpine terrain.
